Terms & Conditions
The basis on which we work with you.
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply to all work carried out by Avery Solutions and its technology branch, Avery Tech Solutions. Specific projects may have a separate written agreement, and where the two differ, the written agreement takes priority.
1. Quotes and pricing
All prices are in pounds sterling and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. Quotes are fixed and valid for 30 days. Once accepted, the price won't change unless you ask us to change the scope of the work — if you do, we'll re-quote before starting.
Website builds are priced by tier:
- Starter — from £400 — up to 5 pages, contact/enquiry form, mobile-friendly build, SEO basics, SSL and one round of changes.
- Business — from £750 — everything in Starter, plus more pages, image galleries, testimonials and booking or enquiry forms.
- E-commerce — from £1,200 — product catalogue, cart and payments, customer accounts and stock/order management.
Features outside your chosen tier are quoted separately before we start, so the price never moves unexpectedly. Ongoing hosting and upkeep is £25 per month. Ongoing management with frequent changes is from £40 per month. 3D prints and app development are quoted individually.
2. Payment
Website and app projects normally require a deposit to begin, with the balance due before launch. The exact schedule is set out in your quote or project agreement. 3D print orders are paid in full before printing begins.
Monthly services are invoiced in advance each month and are payable within 14 days. We may pause work on accounts more than 30 days overdue after giving written notice.
3. 3D printing
- File responsibility — it's your responsibility that any file you send is valid, correctly scaled and printable. We can check a file before quoting, but we can't guarantee a model prints exactly as imagined.
- Colour and finish — layer lines, slight surface variation and minor colour differences are inherent to 3D printing and aren't faults.
- Colour fastness — some pigments fade with prolonged UV exposure or heat. Not covered under guarantee.
- Postage — delivery is the customer's responsibility once the item is dispatched. Any loss or damage in transit is between you and the carrier.
- Failed prints — if a print fails through our equipment or material fault, we'll reprint it at no charge or issue a refund. If it fails because the model can't be printed, we can't offer a free reprint.
4. Website and app development
- Ownership — on final payment, the design, code and content we produce for you become yours. Third-party assets, fonts, plugins and stock images remain subject to their own licences.
- Your content — you confirm you have the right to use any text, images, logos and files you supply.
- Scope changes — work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before it's carried out.
- Testing — we test before launch, but we can't test every device and browser combination. Please check the site once it's live and tell us if anything's wrong.
- Third-party services — things like hosting, domain registration and payment providers have their own fees and terms. You're responsible for those accounts.
5. Website hosting and management
- Monthly services — Hosting & Upkeep (£25/mo) covers hosting, uptime, backups, security monitoring, SSL and updates. Management Plus (from £40/mo) covers our time: edits and changes by request, content management and priority support. They are separate services — you may take either or both, and Management Plus applies whether or not we host the site.
- Notice period — monthly services run continuously and can be cancelled with 30 days' written notice. Upkeep paid for a month that you don't use isn't refunded.
- Fair use — Management Plus includes up to 1 hour of edits, content changes and fixes per month; the hours and workload included depend on the monthly plan you hold. Work beyond that — new features, redesigns or larger jobs — is quoted separately before it begins.
- Downtime — we aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We'll always tell you if we plan maintenance in advance.
6. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide content, approvals and feedback when we need them, and to respond reasonably promptly. Delays in getting information from you will move the project timeline accordingly.
You must not use anything we build to carry out anything unlawful, or in a way that infringes someone else's rights.
7. Intellectual property
We retain ownership of our own tools, techniques and any reusable code not specific to your project. We won't use your confidential information for anyone else, nor use your project work to showcase for others without asking you first.
8. Limitation of liability
We do everything with reasonable skill and care, and we're not liable for business losses that were reasonably foreseeable as a consequence of our work going wrong, or for indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't lawfully be limited.
Where we're at fault in delivering a 3D print, our liability is limited to replacing that print or refunding its cost — not paying for consequential loss.
9. Cancellation
Either of us can cancel a project in progress by giving notice. If you cancel after we've started, you'll be invoiced for the work completed up to that point. If we cancel for any reason other than our own serious failure, you'll receive a full refund of anything paid beyond completed work.
10. Portfolio use and credit
Unless you ask us not to, we may show completed project work in our portfolio or marketing. We won't disclose confidential information or anything you ask us to keep private.
Credit — every website we build includes a credit line in the footer or about page crediting Avery Tech Solutions, for example: "Site by Avery Tech Solutions". Where agreed in your quote, this credit may also include a clickable link to averysolutions.co.uk. Removing or hiding that credit after launch requires your written agreement, and we may charge for the work needed to restore it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to work agreed after the date shown at the top.
