Our Own Product — built in-house

Kaimuse.app — AI Character App

How we designed and built our own AI character chat platform — with personality, memory, voice and subscriptions. The same tech we offer to clients.

The Idea

An AI chat app where characters feel real — not a generic chatbot.

What Kaimuse is

Kaimuse is a web app where you meet, chat with and create AI characters — each with their own personality, memory and voice. Characters remember past conversations, respond with their own tone and style, and can even speak replies out loud.

It's not a single chatbot with one personality. It's a platform: users create their own characters, share them with the community, and build ongoing relationships that develop over time.

Why we built it

We wanted to prove we could build a real, production-grade product end to end — not just client work. Kaimuse is how we show that the same team that builds your website or app can also build a full platform with accounts, subscriptions, moderation and AI integration.

Everything you see on Kaimuse — design, frontend, backend, database, payments, hosting — was built and is managed by Avery Tech Solutions.

What We Built

A full product, not a prototype.

AI Characters

Characters with distinct personalities, moods and conversation styles. Users can create their own or chat with community-created ones — each with a voice of its own.

Memory & Context

Characters remember what you've talked about before. Conversations build on each other — the relationship develops over time instead of starting from zero every session.

Voice & TTS (in development)

The framework for spoken replies is in place — each character will have its own voice. It's not live yet, but the foundation is built and ready to switch on when the time is right.

Group Chats

Chat with multiple characters at once. Each one keeps its own personality and memory — conversations with a group feel like a real room, not a monologue.

Subscriptions

Three tiers (Starter, Plus, Pro) with monthly and yearly billing, a 7-day free trial and per-plan limits on messages, character creation and group chats.

Safety & Moderation

Age-gated (18+), moderated content and private conversations. Built from the start with user safety as a feature, not an afterthought.

How It's Built

Modern, fast and made to scale.

The tech, in plain English

Kaimuse runs on Next.js with React — the same modern web framework we use for client projects. The backend is powered by PocketBase: a fast, lightweight database and API that handles user accounts, characters, conversations and subscriptions without the overhead of a traditional server setup.

The whole thing is hosted on Vercel, so it scales automatically and loads fast anywhere. Test suites (Vitest) cover the critical paths — voice, chat and API — so changes don't break what's working.

The stack

  • Next.js 16 & React 19
  • TypeScript
  • PocketBase — database & API
  • Tailwind CSS & shadcn/ui
  • Vercel hosting
  • Vitest test suites

Where It Stands

Launch-ready and already live.

Kaimuse is live at kaimuse.app with a holding page, invite system and Discord community — subscriptions open at launch. The platform is built, tested and deployed, with a roadmap for new features after launch.

This is our own product — we use it to prove the tech we sell actually works. When we build your website or app, you're getting the same team and the same stack that built this.
